With the hurricane & storm session just over many properties that I am reviewing for insurance companies are showing signs of minor, and in certain cases, major roof damage.
If the insurance company failed to get an inspection, they are generally unaware of any damage until a claim is made. That’s when the claim dispute starts to identify if it was existing damage. Many insurance companies are opting out of homeowners insurance because of the increase in claims and the remaining few companies require either a full roof or 4 Point Inspection to be carried out to protect their liability prior to writing the policy.
Most roof defects cannot be seen from the ground, which is why it is essential that a complete roof inspection by a Certified Inspector is carried out by walking the roof to prevent & protect against unnecessary and fraudulent insurance repair claims.

| The satellite dish was removed and the rusting fixing bolts left in the roof |

Not only damaged gutters but this roof has a serious termite infestation |
All my reports have photographs taken of the front & back of the roof including any defects. Before you agree your next policy consider this, is it one of these roofs above? My roof inspection could save your company thousands of dollars. Please pass this email onto other agents who you wish to protect against unnecessary and fraudulent insurance claims. |
